I found this clay Gingko leaf/shell (not sure what it is) at the bead store today. Fell in love with it. It's glazed clay and has a nice feel and weight to it. I bought some beads to go alongside it, but they looked dumb when strung. So I had to come up with a new plan of action. End result? Love, love, love my new necklace. It looks different from the other chokers you see 'round with a big circle-y thingie hanging from cord or wire. Had some trouble with the closure cuz I can't seem to wire wrap for beans.
By the way, how did I miss these? The perfect gift for the peri-menopausal woman.... My Paper Crane has the most funnest stuff ever!
Love this necklace! The beads on the front were a great idea! It makes it very eye catching and much more interesting then if they were strung on the side..plus it breaks up the pendant nicely and adds a dash of color :)
