I challenge you, if you're one of those knitters like myself who was content with just doing garter stitch, to make an adult-size garment in garter stitch. If by the end of it you're not begging for some lace or cables....well, then I'm through with you.
It took a ridiculously long time to get the second piece of the Swing Top done. I think it's because I hate anything where I have to repeat myself. Toward the end there I was making myself do one row every morning.
I still have to stitch up the sides and add the crochet trim, but hopefully it will be finished this week.
Here it is today.
I'm loving the color.
By the way, how do you like the new look 'round here? Still working on the banner.
As usual, The Manolo, he makes me laugh: Really Bad Hair.
The color to your swing top is great! I think it's going to be a fun piece to wear. Love the new look on the blog, I need to do the same.

Erk! I hate that whole "Vincent Twice, Vincent Twice" thing. Sorry about that.

See? It's lovely! And that bright gold color would be the rare match for psychedelic capri pants. I KNOW you've got a pair of psychedelic capri pants. But it would also look New-Yahrk-cool with black capri pants and black strappy sandals. And big Jackie Onassis sunglassis!
