So's I Bought Me Some Yarn...

I've crossed a new threshold and have ordered yarn online.  I ordered this from Elann earlier this week and I received it in two days!

The purple cashmere blend is for my first pair of socks whenever I get around to it.  The greenish-y cast ribbon is Berocco Zen.  It has already been contorted into this:

I dragged my non-knitting friend Priscilla into a yarn shop and she fell in love with this scarf.  They gave me the pattern (love Two Sisters & Ewe!) but she couldn't find any yarn to work it up in.

It was super easy and fast.  Did it whilst watching That's Clever and Crafters Coast to Coast episode that I've recorded this week.  Finished it up while watching TLC's Wild Weddings.  Apparently TLC and I have different definitions of "wild."  Unless by "wild" they mean "boring" in which case we are on the same exact page.  Yeah, I probably coulda changed the channel, but I was nearly at the last row and I woulda had to get up and find the remote.  Oh, the suffering I do for my art.....
