Koigu, My Love

I'm late, but I have jumped on the Koigu love train.  FoxyKnits was at Stitches West with beautiful Koigu yarns. I almost resisted, but then I fell in love with a linen stitch scarf that I swore was woven. Then I fell in love with the purple yarn. Me, the yarn, the scarf - a perfect menage a trois. Eep. That's gonna get me some unwanted visitors....

A lot of the yarns I bought at Stitches have the colors purple and green. What can I say - it's my favorite color combination. The Koigu is very, very soft. I can't wait to see how it knits up. I'm hoping the colors really pop.

I think I made something a few years back outta Koigu, now that I think about it...

Yep, I made the Dream Swatch Head Wrap in Koigu. Love the blog for keeping track of the past knits.

Thanks for linking the linen stitch scarf - it's beautiful! I'll have to hunt down some koigu one of these days- I've never actually seen it in person.
