Cloche du Bois
Needles: Size 8 circular, 7 for a slightly smaller hat. Double-pointed needles.
Yarn: 1 skein Blue Sky Cotton in Drift. I used about 1/2 to 3/4 of the skein.
Gauge: 4 stitches/inch
Notions: One stitch marker, scrap yarn for embellishment. Button. Crochet hook (size C or D)
Cloche du Bois
This hat is large - about 21-22 inches around. The brim bells out a bit for the classic cloche shape. Blue Sky Cotton is a worsted weight, pure cotton yarn. It has a fabulous hand to it. The hat is both warm and lightweight. Feel free to leave it plain and make it to the shorter length (5" before you start the decreases) for a guy.
